Farm holiday

Farm holiday is not necessarily always a lot of agriculture. Animals should be there, but it should not stink. Originally, it should be, but not unkempt. Help is appreciated, but the hosts will not be scheduled on a regular basis because it is contrary to the individualism of the traveler.
That may be the reason why there is widespread farm holiday where agriculture actually lost importance. In this respect, one should make when choosing a holiday destination for farm perhaps a difference between a farm on the one hand and a farmhouse on the other. A farm can be a farmhouse, but a farmhouse is seldom a farm. This definition is obviously arbitrary and not binding. But it may be a clue.
